Knitter’s Notes

From the Yarn Designer

We spent a long time searching for a yarn truly optimized for spring and summer garments—and Oat Linen feels like the treasure we discovered at the end of that journey.

No fiber is perfect on its own, so we focused on blending materials that complement each other. After countless tests, this yarn was developed to work beautifully for both knitting and crochet, especially for wearable pieces.

At the heart of Oat Linen is a thoughtful blend of three natural fibers:

  • Premium Linen for durability and that refined, slightly textured feel
  • Soft Cotton made with fine, long fibers to add a gentle, comfortable touch—even in humid weather
  • Lightweight Rayon derived from wood pulp, bringing a cool, smooth, almost silk-like drape

The result is a yarn that feels breathable, structured, and softly fluid all at once.

From the Colorist

When we imagined Oat Linen as a finished garment, we kept asking: How do we want it to feel in real life?

Fresh, airy, and effortlessly refined.

The color palette was carefully developed with a fashion-forward perspective, so each shade works seamlessly in summer wardrobes. Nothing too heavy, nothing too flat—just clean, modern tones that elevate even the simplest designs.

These are colors you’ll reach for again and again.

From the Test Knitters

The texture is honestly what makes this yarn stand out.

It has this subtle wave-like structure that keeps the fabric from sticking to your skin, which is so nice in the summer. Even when it’s hot and humid, it still feels light and breathable.

Also—finished pieces just look effortlessly chic.
Like… even a basic tee ends up looking polished without trying too hard.

It’s one of those yarns where you start with “just a simple project” and end up wanting to make a whole summer wardrobe.
