The All-in-one Halter Top is worked from the top down. First, stitches are cast on for the back, and the shoulders are shaped using German short rows. The front shoulders are then picked up and worked separately, with increases forming the neckline.

The front and back are joined, and the body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch. The hem is finished with a folded edge for a neat and clean look. Stitches are then picked up around the armholes, and the sleeve caps are shaped using German short rows before the sleeves are worked in the round.

The halter straps are worked from held stitches at the front and finished with an oval strap adjuster buckle. Finally, the neckline is completed with a 3-stitch i-cord edging.

This design is worked using larger needles than the recommended needle size for the yarn, which may result in noticeable changes in row gauge before and after washing. Please knit a swatch before beginning your project, and make sure to wash and block your swatch before measuring gauge.

Size Guide

Choose your size based on your chest circumference and preferred fit. You may also measure a well-fitting top in your wardrobe and choose the size in the pattern that is closest to it.

Please note that the sleeves may become narrower and longer after washing. This has already been taken into account in the pattern.
