From the Yarn Designer

Tamtam Pine is created by combining our signature “Tamtam” base—known for its soft, airy, brushed texture—with a fine pine-like strand to add subtle structure and visual interest. The result is a yarn that feels light and fluffy, yet holds its shape beautifully. It offers a mohair-like softness without using actual mohair, making it a comfortable option for those with sensitivities.

From the Colorist

Some shades, especially camel, beige, and navy, feature delicate tonal variations created through a two-tone dyeing process. These layered hues add depth and movement to the fabric, giving even simple stitches a rich and dimensional look.

From the Test Knitters

This yarn is surprisingly easy to work with for a textured yarn. Even held single, it creates a full and cozy fabric on 4.5–5.0 mm needles. It glides smoothly on both knitting needles and crochet hooks, making it suitable for garments, bags, and accessories. We especially loved how quickly it works up while still delivering a refined, modern finish.
